Westmount Signs Partners With The Manulife LPGA Classic in Waterloo
The Manulife LPGA Classic (Official LPGA Tour event) 2015 was held a few weeks ago at the Whistle Bear Golf Club in Cambridge. An annual competition since 2012, the event needed extensive professional signage that would be showcased on international television. Westmount Signs & Printing had the privilege of being selected as the exclusive sign company for this world class event.
Westmount Signs & Printing is known for our high-quality signage and printing with fast turnaround times. We also provide free mockups so that you are fully satisfied with our work. If you have a project in mind or want to get more information, feel free to contact us!
The Manulife LPGA Classic approached us because they needed a local supplier that could make and install high quality customized signs for the tournament…
Since we make everything in house we had the ability to provide exactly what was required. We provided a full team of on-site support who could change the location of a sign or make something new if a player entered the tournament at very short notice or a sponsor requested more visibility etc.
Our fast turnaround times are why clients keep coming back for our services and we are more than willing to continue to provide all clients with this speed. Click here to see what we can do for you.
A big part of the LPGA is to showcase the sponsors and partners because there wouldn’t be an event without their support. The Classic’s sponsors this year included many community minded organizations including Toyota, Waste Management, City of Cambridge and Manulife (who were the Presenting Sponsor) and many others, providing a mix of local and international companies that all came together to support the LPGA and this unique event.
Partner Recognition Wall
We constructed a partner recognition wall to recognize the many supporters of the tournament. The wall also included a map of the facility.
St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation Red Wall Sign
Our team provided durable printed signs for the St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation pledge wall. This needed to be eye-catching, which we certainly managed! The mural for donations and pledges was a big hit and showed that the Manulife LPGA Classic is more than just a golf tournament. It's a community event supporting a great cause.
Vinyl Graphics on Grandstands
Grandstands offer a great open space for graphics, and we knew just what to do with it! Our vinyl prints showcased
proud athletes to acknowledge the tournaments previous champions.
It was extremely important to provide the competitors with high quality and effective signage to keep the branding of the tournament succinct. We also provided the Manulife LPGA Classic with signage for their merchandise!
In addition to the branding and sponsor recognition signage, directional signs were key to the event. With approximately 63,000 attendees, the signs were a crucial part of keeping the event looking professional and organized. Our traffic and directional signs helped attendees to navigate the Whistle Bear Golf Club and the surrounding area with ease.
Directional Cubes
The directional cubes were a stylish and easy to follow way of helping spectators find their way around the Whistle Bear Golf Club. They provided a clean and fresh approach to a typical directional sign and were durable for all weather conditions. They also brought to life the elements of the Manulife LPGA Classic logo.
Hospitality Venue Signage
The hospitality program is a unique feature of the LPGA Tour. It provided sponsors with the opportunity to entertain clients in a world class setting. Our signage helped to direct these VIPs with ease and style.
Road & Parking Signs
The essential part of spectator signage was without a doubt, the parking signage. For people who have never been to the Whistle Bear Golf Club, navigating may have proven to be quite a challenge. We installed signage with clear directions wherever necessary. Not only were these signs helpful, they were also portable. Our A-frame signage meant that if a new route or access point opened up, we could accommodate for that with the proper signage.
