In 2023 alone, they sponsored over 100 local organizations, providing nearly $50,000 in financial and in-kind support to non-profit organizations and charities.
This substantial investment directly empowered a wide range of community-focused initiatives, including educational programs such as literacy workshops, STEM initiatives, and after-school tutoring. In addition to in-kind sponsorships, they also focus on collaborating with other local businesses.

Every year for Canstruction Waterloo Region, designers, architects, and engineers use their talents to raise food, funds, and awareness for The Food Bank of Waterloo Region. This year, The Food Bank of Waterloo Region is introducing Battle of the Builds, a look back at five years of Canstruction Waterloo Region.
Between April 17–25, 2021, images of the structures were on display at Conestoga Mall and local grocery stores, and people had the chance to help choose the Battle of the Builds champion by donating to vote. Since 2008, Canstruction Waterloo Region has helped provide more than 1.2 million meals to people in our community who are struggling to put food on the table.

During the pandemic, Westmount Signs & Printing donated 50% from each sign sold to The Food Bank of Waterloo Region. For only $20 + HST with no minimum order, people were able to show their support for doctors, nurses, mail and delivery workers, grocery clerks, truck drivers, and all frontline heroes.
Each lawn sign came with an H-stake and could be easily installed — simply pushed into the soil. The signs were 24″ x 16″ and fit into most vehicles.

The KW COVID-19 Sewn Medical Supplies group consists of people in the Waterloo Region who supported the local medical community during the COVID-19 pandemic by sewing medical gowns for use in physicians’ offices, homeless shelters, food banks, medical clinics, midwives, and other allied health organizations. The Children’s Business Fair is the largest entrepreneurship event for kids in North America and continues its annual event in Waterloo Region.
Westmount Signs & Printing is an annual sponsor of the Belmont Village Festival (Bestival), the premier arts and music event held every September. In 2019, there were over 8,000 people in attendance. The two-day experience brings local artists to perform over three pedestrian blocks and is held in the heart of midtown Kitchener-Waterloo.

CTRL V makes virtual reality easy and accessible. Unlike conventional gaming, VR offers a new way to play alone or with your family, friends, and mortal enemies! CTRL V is an annual participant in Extra Life, an event uniting thousands of participants to play video games and heal kids by fundraising for local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals across North America. Westmount Signs & Printing supports CTRL V in their continued involvement with Extra Life, handling all their printing and signage needs. Since its inception in 2008, Extra Life has raised over $70 million USD for sick and injured kids.
The Zonta Film Festival is one of the only film festivals in Canada that exclusively showcases female filmmakers. In 2019, they raised just under $27,000, and the funds were granted to local organizations serving women. ZFF advocates for the empowerment of women, creates awareness of the challenges and limitations women continue to face, and inspires all of us to do what we can to assist in our local and global communities. Christmas in the Village is an annual event held in late November in Belmont Village, featuring attractions for children and adults, including horse rides, a pet parade, a silent auction, writing letters to Santa, and meeting the jolly man himself. There are giveaways and opportunities to win gift cards from various Belmont Village businesses. As part of the event, many local businesses decorate their storefronts with festive holiday décor. Westmount Signs & Printing is a cheerful sign sponsor for this annual event, run by the Belmont Village Business Improvement Unit, a group of local businesses working to improve the area and increase visitors.
Westmount Signs & Printing is a Gold Sponsor for the annual Stuffin Stockings program, which sends stockings to those in need throughout the Waterloo Region. Since 2010, the program has grown from “a few” stockings to over 2,500 annually. Recipients include newborn babies, children, teens, adults, New Canadians, adults living with disabilities, seniors, and people experiencing homelessness.

The KW Flamenco Fest is an annual event hosted by CaluJules – Flamenco Plus with the goal of nurturing and growing our local flamenco community. Kitchener Blues Festival is a free festival that takes place the weekend after the Canadian Civic Holiday in August. Duds for Studs is a local program that provides free prom, semi-formal, graduation, and business wear to young men who otherwise could not afford it. Gently used business and formal wear — including suits, shirts, dress pants, belts, ties, and shoes — is being collected at Sage Naturopathic Clinic and Trends for Men to be redistributed to those in need at the Suit Up! event.
